Day 8 - Wednesday July 12th

Today we got up early once again to eat breakfast at 8:00 and be off by 8:30. The bus arrived and we left to go to a really nice primary school. Overall it was a really good performance, and when we finished, the snack ladies brought us all cokes for free to sip on to cool us down from the blazing hot sun. After this show, we loaded up and left to another school. We unloaded here at the biggest school we have been to yet, and then played with the kids while waiting for Tito to arrive. Little did we know, but the bus dropped us off at the wrong school, and all of our equipment was at another school. So finally Mark figured it out and we booked it full speed out of a school we were not supposed to be in (but nobody stopped us or told us we had to go) and we loaded back into the bus and took off for the right school. But the time we got there, they were already started and just waiting for us mimes and puppets. There was no interaction from this crowd, but it was still a pretty good performance. After the performance we drove back home for lunch and a break. Lunch was spaghetti which was really good once again. By 3 we were loaded into the bus again and off to our next school. We went to a school way out at the base of the mountain that serves as an orphanage for all ages. We performed here in front of a rather small crowd, but that was ok because it was cold and we were all tired. After this performance, we loaded into the bus, and then de-mimed on the go as we headed off to go back to the university. We made it to the university, and then broke off into smaller groups and talked English for about an hour. By 7:00 we left and headed out to go to Culto.com to spend an hour or two in prayer with some other people. We arrived and sat down and listened to some worship and then Sam and Christine gave a testimony/trip update to the Peruvians which was really cool. Then we came back to the church, ate dinner, and then were in bed by 10:30.
