Today we got up at
7 to get ready to feed the children at 7:30. We went to the
kitchen and helped cut bread and butter them so that the kids
would have a good breakfast to eat on Saturday mornings. At 10:00 we were all mimed up and ready to
go and we walked up the street to a little park to do our first
show. It was raining (although Mark says its just light mist)
which made some of the things to do difficult. We did a pretty
good job considering how cold it was and the weather conditions.
After we finished performing, we walked back to the church and
worked on cleaning the sanctuary until it was time for lunch. We
had hamburgers for lunch today which were pretty good. At 2:30 the bus arrived and we got ready to go to our
next location which we were told was another park, but once we
got there it was just a dirt intersection in the middle of the
street. We did very well in this
location, and then we loaded back up into the bus and went back
to the church to unpack and de-mime for the night. After we
cleaned up, we had a fruit snack and then left again to go to Culto.com (the Youth Worship service). We got there a little bit
early to talk to the English students that we had invited the
other day at the university. We all talked for a while and then
the money changer came and we traded money. After changing money, the service started and
we had a worship time and then Mark Jones got to speak
for the service. After the
service, we all hung around and then left to come back to the
church. We got back and ate dinner and then went to bed because
it was a pretty long day.
