Today we were going to spend
the morning in Nueva Jerusalem feeding the kids breakfast and
performing for them. The bus was late but we finally got there a
little bit after 8:00 and started right away in washing the kids
hands and feeding them breakfast. After breakfast, we did a
performance for the kids and then had an activity time. All in
all, we were there a couple hours playing with the kids,
performing, and working on crafts with them. After craft time,
we handed out some juice and cookies for all of the kids and
then got back in the bus to head back to the church for lunch.
After lunch, we loaded up and started the long trip into the
city of Conosur. Tonight we would be performing at a Baptist
church which was really cool. Everyone was already waiting for
us when we got there, so we jumped right into action. It was a
neat experience because in the audience was a team from France
who were working at a local orphanage and brought some of the
kids over to see us perform. After the show, we loaded back into
the bus and went to Culto where we de-mimed and then walked down
to 28 (which is a local shopping market). We spent about 20
minutes here looking around and then at 7:00 we were back at
Culto to sit in on another study. Mark led worship and then
translated for us what the service was. It was a good service.
After the study, we loaded back into the bus and came back to
the church where we ate dinner and then sent everyone to bed.
