Today, we walked to our first school from the church which was
really cool. We got to the school which was our smallest one
yet, and we did our performance. After performance, they
gave us some bread and some health drink to partake of which was
pretty good. After this school, we loaded back into the bus and
headed off for our next school which would be the biggest one
yet. It was an all guys school housing 1500 guys. We got there,
but there was some confusion because the guy who had set it up
was sick and the person on duty at the school didn’t know
anything about it, so they didn’t let us in. From here, we went
back to the church where we could relax and practice for
tonight. Tonight was the unplugged night at Culto where various
people could perform, so we had a couple of people from our team
join the line up. After lunch, some people stayed back and
worked on practicing while the rest of the team went down to the
town center and did some shopping. Later on, we finally got all
ready (mimed-up), and the team set up in our usual spot and we
performed for about an hour. From here, the rest of the team
walked back to culto to de-mime and get ready for tonight.
Everyone de-mimed and were ready to go by 7:00 for the show, but
it didn’t really start until after 7:30. While we were here,
Mark, Matt C., Sam J, Matt D., Nick A., Haylee S., Lauren B.,
and Allison G. performed some songs for the people who came. It
was cool because a lot of the people we have been talking to in
the English institute came to watch us and talk with us. After
our performance, we came back to the church and went to bed
after a short dinner.
