A Brief Introduction to the Silent Drama Team
Our Purpose: Use silent drama to effectively communicate the truths of God’s Word and the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Reach out to others with the love and hope that comes from having a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Qualifications of Being a Mime:
• Flexible
• Team player & team supporter
• Comfortable “talking” to children and adults
• Comfortable sticking out (more than normal)
• Willingness to follow directions even without fully understanding the reason why
• Putting on a “happy face” even when this may not reflect true feelings within
• Others focused
• Attentive to surroundings and circumstances
• Physically healthy
Mime Attire
• 2-3 black t-shirts (crew neck) – girls, no mid-drifts; guys, no sagging.
• 2 pairs black pants (not black jeans unless they are solid and dark)
• 2 pairs jeans (without elaborate decorations, holes, rips/tears, etc.)
• Black slip-resistant shoes
• 1-2 colored t-shirts (crew neck) – no mid-drifts or sagging – color to be assigned
• (optional) 1-2 long-sleeve shirts (to wear under your t-shirts)
• (optional) zip-up/button-up solid colored sweatshirt or sweater
