Most of us got some sleep on the plane ride, thankfully. Arriving at 7:30AM local time we grouped together and started the customs process, which was quite painless despite one worker there who constantly reminded us that we needed to keep moving and get into the line. He didn’t like that we had stopped to organize ourselves and finish our paperwork. After getting our baggage and going through the remaining customs process, we waited for the bus. When we got back to Hope at 10AM there was a welcoming committee! It was a happy time of reunion, which was extended over lunch at the local In-n-Out. (Mark and Phil arrived late Saturday night, having spent two additional days in Peru.)
