This day marks Peru’s independence from Chile and was a holiday for everyone except us. We prepared earlier than normal for a day of presentations starting at La Rampa. After lunch we gave a presentation in an amphitheater style plaza where Tito gave an altar call and many came forward. That evening we gave another presentation at a family park, a place with food, carnival type rides and playground equipment. With little space to perform, we did our best to watch our stuff, minister to the people there and give good performances. Tito also gave an altar call there and we watched even more people come forward and acknowledge their need for Christ. Needless to say we were quite exhausted by the time we got home!
